Both the Samsung S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are the flagship models of Samsung which is one of the market leaders in the world of mobile phones. The phones were unveiled on 25th February 2018 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Both these phones offer features which are found in only a handful of phones in the market. However, there are some Samsung S9 Plus features which makes it score over the Samsung S9, a few of which are -
Camera
The S9 has a 12MP rear camera with a dual aperture modes of f/1.5 and f/2.4. This helps in getting clear photos even in low-light conditions. It also has a digital zoom of 8X. S9 Plus has all these features but does one better by having a dual camera set up at the back both of which are market at 12MP. It also has a digital zoom of 10X and features OIS or Optical Image Stabilization for clicking stable photos even when the phone is moving.
Display
The S9 has a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.6%. The S9 Plus has a 6.2-inch screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 84.2%. Both the phones have a display resolution of 2560X1440p with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Battery
The S9 has a 3,000 mAH battery which offers up to 16 hours of video playback, up to 22 hours of talk time, and up to 12 hours of 4G internet. The Galaxy S9 Plus, on the other hand, features a 3500 mAh Li-ion battery with up to 18 hours of video playback, up to 25 hours of talk time, and up to 15 hours of 4G internet.
Both of the models support fast battery charging with Quick Charge 2.0, and also, wireless charging.
RAM
The S9 has 4GB RAM while the S9 Plus has 6GB RAM.
