Honest Comparison of Samsung Galaxy M20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Comparison of the two brands - Samsung and Xiaomi is rather difficult. This is because both have their pros and cons and have their fan following too. Even though both have great phones to offer, what sets them apart is how they fare in the day to day use.



The two phones in question here, namely the Samsung Galaxy M20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro are good phones but there are certain differences between the two of them which makes each one stand apart.

Samsung Galaxy M20

The newer of the two phones having been launched in 2019 and checks all the right boxes. It has a 6.3-inch screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has a screen-to-body ratio of more than 90 percent. It is available in two colors black and blue.

It has a 5000 mAh battery which is a bit of an overkill but then when it comes to battery capacity, the more the merrier.

Other than this everything is rather standard with a plastic back, 3.5mm audio jack, power and volume buttons on the sides, a tray for two nano SIMs, micro SD card slot, and dual rear camera.

Under the hood is an Exynos 7904 processor and Mali-G71 GPU. There are two storage options available 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The one area where the phone scores are the display with a 2340x1080p resolution while the OS is the latest Android Oreo 8.1.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6

The successor to the Redmi Note 5, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is a worthy competitor to the Samsung Galaxy M20. It has a notched 6.26-inches screen with a 2280x1080p resolution. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 636 processor which has been clocked at 1.8Ghz.

The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage along with a hybrid dual SIM slot which can be used to expand storage. This phone too has a dual-camera setup at the back with two cameras having a resolution of 12MP and 5MP respectively.

However, it is the front camera which stands out with an impressive 20MP resolution. However, this phone has an additional front camera with a 2MP resolution. The phone has a 4000 mAh battery and supports quick charging too.

Thus, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is the best phone if you are looking for MI mobiles under Rs. 15000.
